The Camino Eclipse pilgrims at León Cathedral, August 2026

Last August, Angela and I walked from León to Santiago with a wonderful group of pilgrims. It began with a total eclipse over León Cathedral and ended sixteen days later in the rain in front of the Cathedral of Santiago. Somewhere in between, strangers became family.

That walk reminded me why Camino for Good exists: to help people step onto the pilgrim road, in person or from home, and to come back changed. This autumn we’re sharing that story with you, and inviting you onto the road with us.

The Camino Eclipse Diaries

Every Thursday and Sunday through November, we’ll share a short video from each day of last summer’s walk: the eclipse over León, the climb to the Cruz de Ferro, the green hills of Galicia and the arrival in Santiago. Follow along on our new Camino for Good Facebook Page, on Instagram and on YouTube.

Walk with us in 2027: Porto to Santiago

Our next hosted pilgrimage is the Camino Portugués from Porto to Santiago, 4–20 April 2027, in a Holy Year. It covers 225 km / 140 miles, with real beds every night, dinners together and a day at Finisterre. Angela and I will be your hosts.
