PREPARE FOR YOUR ECLIPSE CAMINO

Physical Preparation (3-4 months prior)

  • Build up to 5-10 mile walks, 2-3 times weekly
  •  Train in your actual trip footwear and pack
  •  Include hills and uneven terrain when possible
  •  Add stretching and strength exercises

Virtual Training:

  • Access included: Virtual Pilgrimage app for route visualization,
    cultural preparation, and motivation

Essential Packing List:

  • Well-broken-in walking shoes + evening sandals

Booking Your Camino for Good Experience: Terms & Conditions

  1. Deposit & Payment
    • Booking Deposit: $500 per person (non-refundable, about 15% of tour price) due at application; includes access to Virtual Pilgrimage App.
    • Payment Schedule: Second payment of $1,000 due by January 31, 2026. Remaining $2,000 due 30 days before the tour start date.
    • Full Payment Deadline: Balance due no later than 30 days prior to the trip.
    • Late Bookings: If booking within 30 days, full payment is due immediately.
  1. Refunds & Cancellations
    • Deposit: The $500 deposit is non-refundable.
    • Cancellations:
      • Cancel booking–Jan 31, 2026: Forfeit deposit.
      • Cancel Feb 1–June 30, 2026: $1,500 penalty (lose deposit and second payment).
      • Cancel within 30 days of start: All payments non-refundable.
      • Name changes allowed with $65 processing fee if a replacement is found.
      • If Camino for Good cancels, full refund or credit (minus bank/processing fees).
  1. Participant Requirements
    • Valid passport and appropriate travel/medical insurance (cancellation, interruption, emergencies, baggage, liability) are mandatory.
    • Camino for Good strongly recommends insurance to cover all non-refundable costs.

    • Camino for Good acts as agent for hotels/providers; responsibility for delays/unforeseen events/health lies with participants.
    • Camino for Good may adjust itinerary or lodging for group safety/quality, providing alternatives of equal standard if needed.
    • Not liable for changes beyond control (weather, strikes, emergencies).
  1. Health & Fitness
    • Participants must ensure readiness for daily moderate/strenuous walks, up to 18 miles/day.
    • Please consult your doctor if you have concerns.
    • Disclose health or dietary needs at booking.
